CAPAA Will Host a Performance Tent at 2nd Annual Jasper Artfest

Creative and Performing Arts Academy (CAPAA) will again host a performance tent at the 2nd Annual Jasper Artfest on April 21 and 22, 2012. Students, instructors, area musicians, artists, and thespians will be performing throughout the weekend. The public is invited to stop by and try an instrument or learn more about CAPAA offerings. The CAPAA booth will be located in front of Moore’s Furniture on Main Street.
Creative and Performing Arts Academy began during the summer of 2010 with private lessons in guitar and piano and the Jasper Young Singers. Since then we have added art, cello, violin, mountain dulcimer, photography, acting, crafting, voice and two groups – the Young Actors Project and the Marble Valley Community Choir. Offerings include private lessons, group lessons, traveling instructors (for Boys and Girls Club and Seniors), and summer camps in theater and a ‘Try-it’ camp where students spend a week trying all that the Academy offers and more.

Visit www.CAPAAJasper.com or www.facebook.com/CAPAAJasper for more information or call 770-893-8185.
