Mrs. Mary Elizabeth McFarland, age 73, of Dawsonville, passed away at her daughters residence in Forsyth County on Sunday, May 6, 2012.Visitation was held Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Thursday 8 a.m. until the funeral hour. Funeral Services were held Thursday, May 10 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Chaplain Steve Stevens officiating. Interment followed in Burnt Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors are son Daniel McFarland, Ellijay; daughter Jane Smith, Forsyth County; four grandchildren: John and David Brown, Daniel McFarland, and Cheyenne McFarland; two great-grandchildren: Skylah Jade Satterfield and Dakota Chance; numerous nieces and nephews.
