1. Signed Joint Proclamation by the Sole Commissioner of Pickens County and the Mayor of the City of Jasper proclaiming September 17 through September 21, 2012 to be Constitution Week.
2. Adopted Resolution Adopting and Amending Chapter 67 – Amended by allowing churches, temples, synagogues, and places of worship, including cemeteries as accessory uses, to be a permitted use in the Highway Business (HB) district as outlined in TABLE 6-1-1 of Section 67-8 of the Code of Ordinances of Pickens County, Georgia.
3. Signed Agreement with Geneva Evans for payment from Pickens County to Geneva Evans in the amount of $4500.00 as full payment for the execution of the Warranty Deed attached to these minutes. (This is payment of right of way acquisition necessary for the improvements to State Route 53 – land lying and being in Land Lot 15 of the 13th District and 2nd Section of Pickens County, Georgia and being known and designated as Parcel #4 containing.027 acre.)
4. Opened Pickens County Government – General Fund Account at United Community Bank.
Closed two accounts at Stearns Bank: Pickens County Water Reserve Account and Pickens County Water Tap on Deposits Account
