FYN Exclusive: Gilmer vs. Pickens Hat Challenge

Friday marks the biggest game of the football season for the Pickens Dragons and the Gilmer Bobcats, as the two face off play for the fifty-fifth time to determine who gets bragging rights in this matchup of bitter rivals. This game has great implications for both squads’ chances at going to the playoffs this year (Pickens currently sits atop Division A of the 7-AAAA region with a 2-0 record and Gilmer is close behind at 1-0), so there will be a lot riding on the outcome of this game for the players on both sides.

As if it wasn’t enough for the two teams and their fanbases to be wrapped up in how the game plays out, we here at FetchYourNews just couldn’t keep our paws off of this exciting matchup, which led to the creation of the Gilmer vs. Pickens Hat Challenge. What is the Gilmer vs. Pickens Hat Challenge, you might ask? Check out FYN’s own Brian K. Pritchard as he lays out the challenge to the viewers.
