Mrs. Betty June Johnson, age 76 of Talking Rock, Georgia died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at her daughter’s residence in Douglasville, Georgia following a period of declining health.
Mrs. Johnson remains at Roper Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Thursday March 7, 2013. Born May 16, 1936 in Fulton County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Paul Sudduth and Lela Reece Sudduth. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Johnson and a son, Sammy Evans. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and was a member of the Ludville Church of God.
Survivors include, Daughters & Sons-in-law, Deborah and Phil Keaton of North Port, Fla.; Patsy and Alan Norton of Austell, Ga.; Donna and Randy Locke of Douglasville, Ga.; Cindy and Derrick Goolsby of Douglasville, Ga.; Son & Daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Kim Evans of Douglasville, Ga.; 11 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Ludville Church of God, Rev. Lynn Pirkle, Rev. Randy Locke and Rev. Phil Keaton will officiate. The interment will follow at 3:00 p.m., Friday at the Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery in Smyrna, Georgia.
