Miss Mia Ashlyn Prather age 7, of Jasper, went to be with the angels early Thursday morning March 21, 2013. She was a student at Jasper Elementary School. She loved to dance. “Let them praise his name in the dance.” Psalms 149:3
She is the daughter of Adam & Kelly Cochran Prather of Jasper. She is also survived by her brother, Micah Prather, Jasper, Grandparents, Gary & Ann Prather, Jasper, Harry & Janice Allen, Talking Rock, Jimmy & Brenda Cochran, Ellijay, Great-Grandparents, Claudine Prather, Jasper, Kenneth & Kathleen Kirk, Talking Rock, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins also survive.
Funeral Service will be 2 PM Sunday the Talking Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Caylor, Rev. Ronnie Kelly, and Rev. Robert Allen officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 Friday evening and Saturday from 11 AM until 9 PM.
The family will accept flowers but prefer donations be made to the Mia Prather Memorial Fund at the Bank of North Georgia.
The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home.
