Interview with PHS Head Baseball & Softball Coach Casey Bates

Softball practice for the Pickens Dragonettes started a week ago this Monday, which means that new head coach Casey Bates is still getting the feel of a new team and a new location.Coach Bates was kind enough to sit down with FYN following the Dragonettes’ scrimmage on Monday morning to talk about his background and what he expects from both the softball team and the Dragons’ baseball team.

The start of the school year is drawing closer at PHS, meaning it won’t be long before Coach Bates and the Nettes hit the field and work hard for a chance at a playoff berth.
