Daily Prayer: 11/13/2014

“Oh that Thou wouldst rent the heavens, that Thou wouldst come down, that the mountains might flow down at Thy presence.” Isaiah 64:1

Almighty God, our heavenly Father, we know that you have all power in your hand, and that no evil can really conquer your people. At times we are impatient as was Isaiah of old for you to break into the course of human affairs and cause men to listen to you. Help us to realize that you are reigning as sovereign Ruler and Lord of the entire creation.

We pray for those that are lonely and whose spirits are low, for those who have sinned and need forgiveness, for those who are weak and need your strength. You know the need in the life of this one who seeks you now. Help this one to commit all of life’s burdens to you through Christ our Lord.
