Mrs. Faye Poole Bruce, age 94 of Jasper, passed away November 11, 2014 at her daughter’s home in Cartersville.Born in Pickens County September 1, 1920, she was the daughter of the late George Poole and Effie Mullins Poole of Jasper. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Reeford Bruce; brother, Claude Poole; sister, Clara Densmore; and son-in-law, Pat Padgett.
Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Judy Padgett of Jasper, and Janice and Johnny Edwards of Cartersville; grandchildren, Darlene Pawlicki of Woodstock, Terrie Wofford, Rex Langley, and Lori Rezutko all of Jasper, Chad Wilkie of Cartersville, and Jill Holbrook of Acworth. Eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Roper Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 14, from the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Eugene Childers officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Forest Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Chad and Cade Wilkie, Rex and Lucas Langley, Ethan Jordan, Ray Holbrook, Mike Rezutko, and Gunner Adams.
