Mr. David Stokes, age 59 of Jasper, passed away at his residence on Friday January 9, 2015.He is survived by his wife: Rita Stokes of Jasper, step-sons: Guy Childers and Pat Childers of Jasper, step-daughter: Leslie Childers of Jasper, brother; Glenn Eddie Stokes of Michigan, sister & brother-in-law: Estelle & Daniel Fitts of Jasper, 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Sunday January 11, 2015 from 6pm until 10pm and on Monday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 3pm on Monday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Childers officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Cagle Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
