Mrs. Maxine W. Moore, age 84 of Jasper, passed away at Piedmont Hospital Atlanta on Thursday January 8, 2015.She is survived by her brother: Dan Westbrook of Jasper, niece: Erin Johnson of Marietta, niece: Rebecca Patterson of Jasper, niece: Dee Jacobs of Jasper, nephew: Harold Westbrook and numerous other great & great-great nieces and nephews and many special friends.
The family will receive friends at Cagle Funeral Home on Friday January 9, 2015 from 6pm until 9pm, on Saturday from 8am until 9pm and again on Sunday from 8am until prior to the funeral hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 2pm on Sunday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Mrs. Moore lieing in state from 1pm till the funeral hour. Rev. Ben Mock, Rev. Brian Hensley and Rev. Max Caylor will officiate. The interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery in Gilmer County.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the American Lung Society or to a charity of your choice.
