Pickens Chamber Welcomes Moore Furniture

Moore Furniture recently had a Ribbon Cutting/Grand Re-Opening celebration of Life in memory of Maxine Moore.
The ribbon was pink, Maxine’s favorite color and food was plentiful with over 40 friends, family & associates in attendance. Dan Westbrook cut the ribbon surrounded by family and friends.
Moore Furniture Co. holds a historical significance in the city of Jasper. It is currently located in what used to be the Jasper Post Office and Rexall Pharmacy. Since 1961 this family-owned and operated business, run by GL Moore and his wife Maxine, has been serving its customers for over 50 years. Moore Furniture is a certified retailer for several major furniture manufacturers. They have retained the professional skills of David Gibson and Chris Pittman, who both have over 20 years experience in assembly, delivery, and installation. They ship and deliver with care. Moore Furniture Co. is located on Main Street directly across from the Pickens County Courthouse.
