Pickens Chamber Welcomes Outdoor Living Porch and Patio

Outdoor Living Porch and Patio held their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Friday, April 24th at their new location on Harmony School Road in Jasper. Julie and her staff have a beautiful new location and showroom. Approximately 40 people including, staff and community came out to support them in their new location.
Outdoor Living Porch and Patio is a family-focused, Jasper-based business designed to help you better enjoy your porch, gazebo and other outdoor living spaces.
Outdoor Living was started by Julie Heinsman — a former research scientist for The Dial Corporation and executive of PGT® Industries for nearly a decade — and she brings an insider’s knowledge of the market, the product, and the benefits it offers homeowners seeking to gain more use from their screened in porches.
Julie believes in taking a thorough approach to her work, employing true craftsman for installations; keeping cost control and family at the forefront — her father continues to be a pivotal part of the business’s success; and really getting to know her customers and their needs. A retired sales and marketing executive, John now manages the farm: feeding chickens and horses, cleaning stalls and mowing the pastures. He also loves accompanying Julie on sales calls and sending fresh eggs to clients!
After experiencing the limitations of her own porch, cleaning pollen during the spring and not being able to use her and her family’s space during the cooler months, Julie decided it was time to solve these problems, not only for herself, but for others, too. She established Outdoor Living to provide a one-stop-shop for people looking for Eze-Breeze porch enclosure products and has met with success and a satisfied client base since the company’s inception.
