Today, the PHS Dragons football team held their 4th day of spring practice to get ready for the upcoming 2015 season. After doing workouts and walk through’s, the Dragons started spring practice on Monday. A scrimmage will be held during practice tomorrow. Head coach Chris Parker told me he was pleased with what he’s seen so far but stressed there’s still a long way to go but is confident his team can get where they need to be. The Dragons will again practice Monday through Thursday next week and will hold a “Spring Game” next Friday at JMS.
The game will start a 6 pm next Friday and will feature the 10th-12th grade players split into a green and white team. To simulate game action as best as they can, there will be officials and score will be kept. Everyone is encouraged to come out and get a sneak peak of the 2015 Dragons football team.
