Mrs. Annie Agnes Jones, age 94, of Talking Rock, passed away at her home on Saturday, June 25, 2016. Annie was born on April 17, 1922 to James Biege and Violet O’Shields Wooten.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Jones of Talking Rock; son, Charles and Jackie Grant of Jasper; granddaughter, Niki Eubanks; great-grandchildren, Darla Satterfield, Cody Grant, and Kayla Eubanks; great-great-grandchildren, Grant and Peyton Satterfield and Addy and Cole Grant. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Jones was preceeded in death by her parents, Biege and Violet Wooten; sisters, Ila May Stanfield, Vergie Lou Bennett, and Mami Lee Widenhouse; grandson, Tony Grant.
The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Autry Dean and Reverend Randy Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Monday, June 27, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
