Mr. Kenneth “Butch” Paul Gaddis: Obituary

Mr. Kenneth “Butch” Paul Gaddis, age 68, of Jasper, passed away at his home on Friday, September 16, 2016. Mr. Gaddis was born on March 8, 1948 to J. L. and Ina Jordan Gaddis.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Gaddis of Jasper; children; Chip and Connie Gaddis of Holly Springs; Thomas and Teresa Prather of Jasper; Gina Silvers of Ball Ground; Sara and Greg Jones of Jasper; Darlene and Ricky Young of Fairmount; and Marsha and Timmy Nicholson of Fairmount; brother and sister in law, John and Arlene Gaddis of Marietta; sister, Andrenia Stoner of Ball Ground; sister and brothers in law, Brenda and Don Turner of Jasper; Naomi and Junior Cordell of Ball Ground; Deborah Offutt and Ray Griffin of Dalton; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Gaddis was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Baker.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 19th, 2016 at Four Mile Baptist Church with Reverend Ricky Jarrett, Reverend Danny Baker and Reverend Curtis Roland officiating. Interment will follow in the Four Mile Church Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Saturday, September 17, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, September 18, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday, September 19, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper, Georgia.
