The Pickens High School Dragons football team completed preseason testing for the upcoming 2014 fall football season. 13 players earned “Iron Man” honors, including the 2014 “Iron Man of the Year,” Kalyn Brooks who led all players with 148 points, a new record and two points from a perfect score of 150. Shannon Brooks, Ty Prather, Deondre Green, Dillion Gasaway, Walker Lawrence, Cortlin Norton, Jerry Nelson, Marcus Byrd, Kyle West, John Holbert, Ryan Evans, and Austin Massey were the 12 other “Iron Man” club members.
