Rescued Furniture Store Joins “Keep Pickens Beautiful” Business Recycling Program

Announcements

Keep Pickens Beautiful is pleased to partner with the Rescued Furniture Store on North Main Street, by placing recycle containers at their business. The store plans to recycle paper, plastic and aluminum cans and cardboard. The Rescue Furniture Store is run by volunteers and all proceeds go to help rescued animals in Pickens County.

There are more than 50 organizations that have committed to promoting recycling at their business locations. You can be part of this countywide program, and help KPB to reach their goal of reducing solid waste by 25% in our county.

With the raising costs to depose of solid waste, recycling makes sense, especially if it is free!

For more information on recycling at your home or business call the KPB office at 706-253-3600 or visit our web site at wwwkeeppickensbeautiful.com to learn more how you can join your community to reduce solid waste and save money.
