John 14:19 “Because I live ye shall live also.” Almighty God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who rose from the grave and triumphed over death, we worship You with burning hearts. We rejoice that the grave could not hold Him because He rose to portray the resurrection werewith all believers would conquer the clutches of death. We feel the wonder of Mary Magdelene, the excitement of Simon Peter, the burning hearts of the two on the way to Emmalls, and the glory of all that He appeared to after the resurrection. We know that He lives because He has spoken to us, touched our lives with redeeming grace, and lives in our hearts.

Dear Father, we rejoice in our life abundant and everlasting. We pray for the multitudes across our strife – torn world who know nothing of the meaning of Easter and are spiritually impoverished by their lack of knowledge. Remind us that all power is in Your hands and You are in control of our pressure cooker world. Oh that the peace we know in our hearts could abide in every heart! We worship You in the sacredness of assurance of life everlasting through Jesus Christ who lives.
