Mr. Frank (Hoot) Gibson, age 80 of Ball Ground, passed away at Northside Hospital Cherokee on Tuesday June 17, 2014.He is survived by his wife; Nora Gibson, sons; Ricky Gibson, Charlie Gibson, Ray Gibson, Wendell Gibson, Jimmy Ballew, Rodney Nichols, daughters; Bobbie McGinty, Nancy Moore, brother; Jack Gibson, sisters; Faye Walker, Jelane Kelley, Melba Sullivan, 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation however, graveside services are scheduled for 9:30am on Monday June 23, 2014 at Georgia National Cemetery in Cherokee County with military honors.
