Jack Louden, Director of the PCMS Chorus, nearly skipped his way out a recent school board meeting to tell excited middle school chorus members they were going to Disneyworld.

The board voted unanimously to allow the students to attend the Festival Disney program in March of 2015. Louden needed the board’s permission before embarking on a fundraising venture in order to ensure that every student could attend the program-regardless of income.

Louden told the board that the booster club was committed to raise the needed funds.

Louden estimated that the trip would cost each student between $550.00 and $600.00 dollars. The trip includes 3 days of activities, tickets to the park, meals, and insurance.

There are approximately 50 students which will likely attend. They must have a good academic record in order to qualify for the trip.
