William Lee “Willie” Prather, age 50, of Jasper passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.Willie was born to T.J. and Betty Prather on October 25, 1964 in Jasper.

He is survived by fiancé, Donna J. Quinton of Jasper; daughters, Kristen Taylor Prather of Jasper and Olivia Sue Prather of Jasper; mother and father, T. J. and Betty Prather of Jasper; brother, Tim Prather of Jasper; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Mike Aiken of Jasper; and grandson, Claudio Head of Jasper. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Trinity Tabernacle with Reverend Tony Boyd, Reverend Estill Pence, and Reverend Charles Gay officiating. Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2015 and from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., Friday, February 27, 2015.

The family will accept flowers or memorial contributions may be made to the Willie Prather Memorial Fund in care of Roper Funeral Home; 206 Holly Street; Jasper, GA 30143.
