Dawn Denise Wood went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 05, 2011Dawn was born on September 28, 1967. She was a graduate of Ridgeview High School. Dawn worked in her father, E. Warren Wood, Jr.’s salon in Buckhead prior to moving to her grandparents’ family home in Soperton, Ga. Dawn loved nature, animals and crossword puzzles and was an avid reader.

Dawn is the beloved daughter of Mary Frances Wood (Gerald Massey) and E. Warren Wood, Jr. (Lauri Shaw-Wood). She is survived by her dearest love, Burke Hodges and siblings Warren Wood (Tammy), Jason Wood (Kim), Scout Wood, Levi Wood, and niece, Ashley Wood. She was the granddaughter of the late Mr.and Mrs. Elmer Wood, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. James Allan Higgs.

Friends and family are invited to visit the Wood home on Saturday, February 12, 2011.
