Ms. Marguerite Sadie Allen, age 91, of Talking Rock, Ga. died Thursday, February 10, 2011, at the Wildwood Nursing Home, following a period of declining health.Born May 15, 1919 in Fulton County, Georgia., she was the daughter of the late William Herbert Allen, Reba Annette Blair Allen. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Jasper.

She is survived by her Nieces and Nephews, Susan Reeves, Janet Hamrick, Allen Hamrick and W. Gary Hamrick, Sr., 1 Great Nephew and 4 Great Nieces and 2 Great Great Nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:30pm Friday, February 11, 2011 from the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home, Dr. Jerry Johnson will officiate with the interment to follow in the Hinton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00PM on Thursday and until the funeral hour on Friday.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Jasper or the American Cancer Society.
