Following a pair of rained out doubleheaders in the past week, it has been announced that the Kennesaw State Owls softball team will host the Georgia State Panthers for a pair of games on Friday evening at Bailey Park, beginning at 5 p.m. The scheduled game next Wednesday between the two squads has been canceled.The Owls (13-7) were slated to host UConn at Bailey Park last Wednesday, but were unable to play the game due to rain. This Tuesday, their trip to Alabama State for a doubleheader was also postponed due to inclement weather, with no makeup date having been announced at this time.

Georgia State (10-14), as did the Owls, lost a pair of games due to rain two weekends ago at the Georgia Tech Buzz Classic. The newly scheduled doubleheader gives the two squads a chance to recoup one game each on their respective schedules.
