Appalachian Judicial Circuit Holds Annual “Celebrate America” Picnic

Mid May temperatures are normally in the low 80s but this past Tuesday the high was 58. This did not stop Brenda Weaver, Chief Judge, Superior Court Judge Roger Bradley and Superior Court Judge Amanda Mercier from holding the now annual “Celebrate America” picnic. The picnic was held at the ETC pavilion in Ellijay.Chief Judge Weaver began the annual picnic after 9/11/01. This is a way to celebrate America and to stress to everyone that we should not take for granted the freedoms we have as citizens.

The picnic was attended by public, elected and courthouse officials from Gilmer, Pickens and Fannin Counties.

Georgia State Senator Steve Gooch attended as well.
