Roper Funeral Home of Jasper, Ga. announces the death of Mrs. Tina Arp Smith, age 42, of Jasper, Ga., who passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011 at her home.Mrs. Smith remains at Roper Funeral Home where the family will be receiving friends after 12 Noon on Friday, all day Saturday and Sunday until the funeral hour.

Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the County Line Baptist Church with Rev. Jess Posey and Rev. Jerry Banks officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Smith, Jasper, Ga.; Daughters: Macey Roper and Lena Smith of Jasper, Ga.; Mother, Joan Arp, Jasper, Ga.; Brother and Sister-in-law, Chad and Jennifer Arp, Canton, Ga.; Mother-in-law, Faye Smith, Jasper, Ga.; Sister, Libby Wells, Jasper, Ga.; Grandson Brantley Roper, Jasper, Ga.; Nieces and Nephews: Ashley Arp, Aaron Arp, Kyle Arp and Justice Lowe, all of Canton, Ga.; Special Friends, Helen Fowler and Jerry Mulls.

The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Tina Smith Memorial Fund at Community Bank of Pickens County.
