Roper Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Sue Brendel, age 83, of the Hinton Community, who passed away June 8, 2011 at the Heritage Healthcare. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Henry Brendel.Mrs. Brendel remains at Roper Funeral Home where the family will be receiving friends after 12 Noon on Thursday.

Funeral Service will be 11 AM Friday at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Owens officiating. The interment will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her Son & Daughter-in-law, Butch & Marsha Brendel, Hinton; Daughter & Son-in-law, John & Sandra Morrison, Jasper, Ga.; Grandchildren: Joey VanSant, Stephanie Owen and Jacob VanSant; Great-Grandchildren: Haley Owens, Alyssa Owens, Taylor VanSant, Landen VanSant, Leah VanSant and Joseph VanSant.
