Classic Cause: Car Show Helps Community

Community

There was a car for every pinnacle, every evolution, of the American auto industry. There was the elegant black classic, in pristine condition. A fiery Chevy Chevelle SS muscle car. And the 1960s was well represented with a couple Chevy Impalas. They are classic cars with a classic cause: all of the proceeds from a car show in Jasper Saturday will go to help Georgia tornado victims.
The event was hosted by Complete Cash Discount Title Pawn. Participants paid $20 to display their car or motorcycle, and event organizers say all of the money will be donated to the local chapter of American Red Cross to help tornado victims. The Northeast Georgia Chapter of the American Red Cross serves Dawson, Fannin, Forsyth, Gilmer, Hall, Habersham, Lumpkin, Pickens, Rabun, Towns, Union and White counties.
