Mrs. Jean Ryder age 67 of Jasper who passed away on Thursday February 16, 2012 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital.
Mrs. Ryder remains at Roper Funeral Home where the family will be receiving friends from 4-11 PM Friday all day Saturday until 11 PM and Sunday morning until the funeral hour.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM Sunday February 19, 2012 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Rev. Von Hinton officiating. The interment will follow in the Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her Husband, Danny Ryder, Jasper, Daughter, Sherry Hammond, South Riding, Virginia, Son, Scott Hammond, Tyler, Texas, Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Ruby & Fred Ponder, Tate, Grandchildren, Hunter Upson, Benton Ballenger, Eryn Bercowicz, Breanna Hammond, Chandler Hammond, Sister, Nancy Webster, Ohio, Half Sister and Step Brothers, and Step Sister also survive.
