Chrislam Alert: Is the Koran Coming To Your Church?

Religion

There is a new religion on the block. It’s called Chrislam. Chrislam, or the “True Message of God Mission,” is the synthesis (or combining) of Christianity and Islam. This is a radical, heretical, new form of ecumenicalism. Currently Chrislam is a growing trend in Africa, but it is already making inroads into America. It may be coming to your church.Similar to Islam and the Mormon faith, this new religion was introduced by an angel. It seems like we have never gotten it right. God has to keep sending angels to get us back on the right path. This time the angelic revelation came to a man named Tela Tella. This founding revelation came sometime in the 1970s in Nigeria.

Chrislamics believe that the Bible and the Koran are holy books, have equal weight, and both can be used in worship services. They hold Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed to be prophets. It is here where they make the same fatal mistake, as do all the cults when it comes to Jesus. Chrislamics hold Jesus in high esteem, but only as a prophet and not the only Son of God, Savior of the world. This is a damning error according to the New Testament:

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.”(1 John 5:12)

Recently, Rev. Jack Van Impe, well-known end-times preacher on TBN, broke ties with the network when his broadcast was censored. According to TBN, Van Impe crossed the line when he accused other preachers by name of being proponents of Chrislam. The two main men accused in the broadcast are Rick Warren and Robert Schuller.

Currently, there are already Christian churches in the United States reading from the Koran during Sunday services. Apostasy is sweeping this nation and Chrislam is just another part of it.

For years many scholars and theologians have been trying to find a way to make Christianity more appealing. You understand. We need to send Jesus to 5th Avenue for some spiffing up. It’s just too offensive to keep insisting that Jesus is the only way. We’ve got to come up with something to allow more people in the Kingdom. Ummmm.

All this boils down to one point: Do you believe that the Bible is the only authoritative Word of God?
