Family and friends gathered at Pickens High School to celebrate this year’s graduating class of Mountain Education Center High School.As graduates marched into the auditorium an emotional rendition of “Pomp & Circumstance” played as family and friends stood to honor the Class of 2012. Dr. Behrens welcomed and thanked all for attending the ceremony and celebrating the accomplishments of the graduating class of Mountain Education Center High School.

High Honor Graduates Stormiee Weaver and Hayden Mills each shared their MECHS experiences and how it has prepared them for the future.

Numerous scholarships were presented and diplomas were granted to over fifty graduates.
