Ms. Joyce Cox Puckett, age 71 of Jasper, passed away at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital on Monday morning, July 2nd. Visitation was held on Tuesday from noon to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 8 a.m. until the funeral hour. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 4 at 11 a.m. at Long Swamp Baptist Church with Rev. Lamar Frady officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Survivors include daughters: Ginger Yancey, Lithia Springs, Sylvia Montgomery, Jasper, and Sandra Harkins, Danese, West Virginia.
