Mr. Jim Murch, age 49 of Jasper, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, July 12 at 12 p.m. at Freedom Light Church of God in Ball Ground. Mr. Murch will lie in state at the church from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at Noon with Pastor Jeff Farster officiating. Interment will be in the Georgia National Cemetery in Cherokee County.

Survivors are mother Sharon Murch, California, wife Janet Davis, Jasper, sons; Kenneth Murch, California and Richard Mulvahill, California, sisters; Rhonda Morad, Georgia and Marge Amarilla, New York, several grandchildren. Jim was preceded in death by his father Ellsworth Murch.
