Mr. Claude Wesley “C.W.” Logan, age 68, of Talking Rock, Georgia, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at the Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, following a period of declining health.

Born August 23, 1943 in Gilmer County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Marcus Lee Logan and Opal Inez Taylor Logan. Mr. Logan was owner/operator of C.W. Logan Construction Company and was a member of the Whitestone Baptist Church.

Survivors include HIS WIFE OF 48 Years, Mary Nell Logan of Talking Rock, Ga.; DAUGHTER & SON-IN-LAW, Tammy and Carl Bledsoe of Marble Hill, Ga.; SONS & DAUGHTERS-IN-LAW, Chad and Cassie Logan of Jasper, Ga.; Greg and Andrea Logan of Jasper, Ga.; Shane and Rebecca Logan of Jasper, Georgia. GRANDCHILDREN, Ashley Logan, Will Logan, Logan Raye, Madison Raye, Joe Logan, Carter Logan, Sam Logan and Laney Bledsoe; MOTHER-IN-LAW, Katie Hensley of Talking Rock, Ga.; SISTERS, Minnie Easley of Ellijay, Ga.; Gail Pettigrew of Jasper, Ga.; BROTHERS, Cliff Logan of Talking Rock, Ga.; Ronnie Logan of Calhoun, Ga.; and Wayne Logan of Jasper, Ga.; Several Nieces, Nephews and Other Relatives also survive.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 17, 2012 from the Whitestone Baptist Church, the Rev. Mark Johnson and John Cline will officiate with the interment to follow in the Whitestone Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Roper Funeral Home after 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, all day on Thursday and until the funeral hour on Friday.
