Pickens County Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate Day’s Chevrolet on their ribbon cutting, held July 27, 2012. Day’s Chevrolet has a long standing history of giving family friendly service to the surrounding community.In the fall of 1959, Levi Day opened Day’s Chevrolet in the small city of Acworth, Georgia. An amazing 53 years later, Day’s Chevrolet is still a family owned business that has been passed down through now four generations. Although the city of Acworth has changed and grown tremendously since then, Day’s Chevrolet has maintained the way that they do business, through honesty and providing the best service to their customers on a daily basis. The dealership is now owned by Levi Day’s grandson, Calvin Diemer. Calvin’s two sons, Daniel and Andrew, are also involved in the family business. Daniel is the General Manager of the Acworth location while Andrew is the General Manager of the new location right here in Jasper. The Jasper location is now open and well-stocked with a variety of new and pre-owned vehicles as well as a service and parts department to serve Pickens County and the surrounding areas.
