Mrs. Shirley Self Soulia age 63 of Jasper passed away Monday February 4, 2013 at her home after a long courageous battle with cancer.

She graduated from Marietta High School and retired from the Jervis B. Webb Company. She was active in several Pickens County Volunteer Groups and a member of the Jasper United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Willis Soulia, Jasper, Daughter & Son-in-law, Amanda & George Meaders, Jasper, Son, Mathew Reid, Dallas, Granddaughter, Maceigh Meaders, Jasper, Step-Sons, Dustin Soulia, Atlanta, and Travis Soulia, Duluth, Brother & Sister-in-law, Steven & Joyce Self, Marietta, Niece and Nephew, Stephanie & Rodney Murray.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM Thursday at the Jasper United Methodist Church with Rev. Chip Wilson officiating. The interment will follow at Lake Forest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at Roper Funeral Home on Wednesday February 6, 2013 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.

The family will accept flowers or those who desire may make contributions to The Community Thrift Store.
