Mrs. Dossie Mae Allen, age 97 of Talking Rock, Georgia died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Wildwood Healthcare Center in Talking Rock, Georgia.
The body remains at Roper Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Thursday evening, 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Born November 23, 1915 in Gilmer County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Hershel Garland Young and Julia Loudermilk Young. She was also preceded in death by her Husband, Ernest Allen. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and a member of the County Line Baptist Church.

Survivors include, SON & DAUGHTER-IN-LAW, Kenneth and Joyce Allen of Talking Rock, Ga.; GRANDSON, Scott Allen of Cartersville, Ga.; GREAT-GRANDSON, Kyle Allen of Cartersville, Ga.; Several Nieces, Nephews and Other Relatives also survive.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2013, at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Jess Posey will officiate with the interment to follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
