Willie E. “Bill” White, age 92, of Sellers St., Jasper died Saturday March 9,2013.

Mr. White was born May 23,1920 in Marble Hill GA the son of the late James and Cassie Adams White. He was retired from Georgia Marble as a machinist, he served in the US Army Air Corp in WWII, was a member and Deacon of Marble Hill Baptist Church. His wife Ruby Hightower White preceded him in death.

Survivors include: Sons and daughters in law: Brad and Susan White, Michael and Vickie White all of Jasper. Grandchildren: Julie and Neal Childes, Ft. Worth, TX, Great grandchildren; Avery and Aden Childes.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 12,2013 at 11:00am from the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Mock officiating. Interment will be in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens with military Rites by the Pickens Chapter 47 of DAV.

The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00am until 9:00pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Building Fund @ 1036 N. Main St. Jasper, GA 30143 or Pickens Library Building Fund @ 100 Library Lane Jasper GA, 30143 in memory of Mr. White.
