Obituaries July 15, 2013Mr. Frank Nolan, Jr., age 82 of Talking Rock, Georgia died Friday, July 12, 2013 at his residence following a period of declining health. The body remains at Roper Funeral Home where the family will receive friends after 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, all day on Sunday and until the funeral hour on Monday.
Born May 14, 1931 in Murray County, he was the son of the late Frank Nolan and Lillie Bell Nolan. Mr. Nolan had worked as a truck driver with the Pickens County Road Department and was a member of the Black Knob Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Lillian Nolan of Talking Rock, Ga.; daughters & sons-in-law, Linda and Reed Dillard of Talking Rock, Ga.; Brenda Ponder and Grady Nunley of Talking Rock, Ga.; Cathy Moss and Lee Sarrell of Jasper, Ga.; Sue and Clifford Maney of Talking Rock, Ga.; sons & daughters-in-law Charles and Jean Nolan of Jasper, Ga.; Dennis and Donna Nolan of Talking Rock, Ga.; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; sister Sue Schook of Fairmount, Ga.; brothers & sisters-in-law Ernest and Evelyn Nolan of Acworth, Ga.; Leonard and Elizabeth Nolan of White, Ga.; several nieces, nephews and
other relatives also survive.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2013 at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Philemon Davis and Rev. Carl Rogers will officiate with the interment to follow in Lake Forest Memorial Park.
