The Pickens County SeaDragons traveled to Tifton, Georgia for the 2013 Georgia Recreation and Park Association (GRPA) State Swim meet on Friday, July 19th and Saturday, July 20th.SeaDragon June Phang had an impressive amount of success at the state meet, as she placed 5th in the girls 9-10 years old 50 yard freestyle and 2nd in the girls 9-10 years old 25 yard breaststroke.

The SeaDragons’ girls 10 years old and younger 100 yard freestyle relay—comprised of Savanah Mauldin, Lucy Stout, Reagan Harwood, and June Phang—were chosen as alternates but ultimately did not compete in the finals event.
