Ms. Charlene Champion age 73 of Jasper passed away on Wednesday August 14, 2013 at the Heritage Health Care. She retired from Lexington Components. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Molly Pendley Champion, Sister, Mary Sue Hendrix, Brother, Bobby Champion, and Nephew, Johnny Hendrix.

Funeral Service will be 1 PM Friday August 16, 2013 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Buchanan, & Rev. Danny Townsend officiating. The interment will follow in the Russell Cemetery in Hiwassee, GA.

She is survived by a Special Friend, Greg Murphy, Jasper, Brother & Sister-in-law, James & Bonnie Champion, Hiwassee, Nieces and Nephews, Patsy & Jerry Thurman, Kathy & J T Childers, Wanda & Robbie Ray, Ronnie & Lisa Hendrix, David & Tammy Hendrix, Donnie Hendrix, Ricky Hendrix, C J and Geniveve Champion, Linda & Benny Collins and Bobby Gene Champion, Several Great Nieces and Great-Nephews also survive.

The family will be receiving friend at Roper Funeral Home on Thursday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM
