Mrs. Fannie Priest Morrow, age 82 of Talking Rock, Georgia passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Grandview Healthcare Center in Jasper, following a period of declining health.Born April 29, 1931 in Ellijay, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Allen Ponder and Callie Stokes Ponder. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis Priest, first husband, Grady Priest and second husband, Austin Morrow. Mrs. Morrow had work as a waitress at Priest’s Restaurant and was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

Survivors include, DAUGHTERS, Ree Priest of Jasper, Ga.; Martie Weaver of Jasper, Ga.; SONS, Glenn David Priest of Jasper, Ga.; Ronnie Priest of Canton, Ga.; Mick Priest of Talking Rock, Ga.; Auby Priest of Talking Rock, Ga.; Tim Priest of Talking Rock, Ga.; and Jimmy Priest of Jasper, Ga.; BROTHER, Mack Ponder of Plano, Texas; 17 Grandchildren, numerous Great-Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Junior McTaggart, Rev. Marvin Young and Rev. Danny Townsend will officiate with the interment to follow in Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, and on Sunday, 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
