Mrs. Betty Wofford age 77 of Jasper who passed away Wednesday September 11, 2013 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Lester Wofford, Jasper, Special nieces and nephew, Darlene Chapman, Dallas, GA, Barbara Vaughn, Crockett, TX, and Jake Tatum, Douglasville, Ga., Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-Iaw, Paul and Janet Wofford, Jasper, Vertie & Randall Moody, Clayton Community, Billy & Donna Wofford, Jasper, and Wynelle Wofford, Yellow Creek Community, Other nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM Friday from the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Allen officiating. The interment will follow in the Long Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends after 11 AM on Thursday at Roper Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Long Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home.
