Mrs. Bonnie Stone Palmer, age 59 of Jasper, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at her residence.
Born February 25, 1954 in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Carter Tate Stone and Margaret Chastain Stone. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Edward Palmer, daughter, Amanda Marie Palmer, granddaughter, Shannen Palmer and a sister, Ruby Duckett. Mrs. Palmer had worked as a cashier at Dollar General Store in Hinton and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include, DAUGHTER & SON-IN-LAW, Roseanne and Jason Hamrick of Jasper, Ga.; SON & DAUGHTER-IN-LAW, Merrick and Gabriele Palmer of Ellijay, Ga.; GRANDCHILDREN, Cody Nelson, Dylan Nelson, Kaylin Nelson, Josie Hamrick, Justin Hamrick and Dawson Hamrick; SISTERS, Susie Young of Jasper, Ga.; Margie McDaniel of Ellijay, Ga.; Mary Bell Palmer of Jasper, Ga.; and Sandy Rafferty of Kennesaw, Ga.; BROTHERS, Jack Stone of Jasper, Ga.; Robert Stone of Calhoun, Ga.; and Elbert Stone of Jasper, Ga.; Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, the Rev. Buck Parker, Rev. Ronnie Ray and Rev. Harold Cantrell will officiate, with the interment to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday after 7:00 p.m. and on Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
