Mr. Michael Eugene “Mike” Turner, age 50 of Jasper, Georgia passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia. Born on March 7, 1963 in Glasgow, Montana, he was the son of the late Melvin Turner and Martha Lackey Turner. Mr. Turner was a store planner for Wal-Mart and was a member of Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church.

Survivors include, his wife, Graciela Turner of Jasper, Ga.; children, Roman Tapia of Jasper, Ga.; Andrea Tapia and Christian Tapia both of Mexico; sisters, Helen Warren (P.J.) of New Castle, OK; Susan Hellie of Chamblee, Ga.; Terrie Brantis (Ed) of Texas; Tamie Turner of Billings, MT.; Cindy Turner of Rapid City, S.D.; Marsha Hammac (Mark) of Columbia, S.C.; brothers, Dennis Turner of Rapid City, S.D.; Randy Turner of Portland, OR.; Timothy Turner of Oklahoma City, OK.; Billy Turner; and Jeff Turner (Michelle) of Temple, Ga.; Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A Funeral Mass will be at 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2013 at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church, Father Charles Byrd will officiate.
