Ronald David “Ronnie” Chalker, age 57 of Ball Ground, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 2o, 2014, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Born March 23, 1956 in Marietta, Georgia, he was preceded in death by his Father, James Macon Chalker. Ronnie had worked as a truck driver for Cypress Truck Lines in Smyrna, Georgia.

Survivors include, HIS WIFE OF 39 YEARS, Jeanette Chalker of Ball Ground, Ga.; DAUGHTERS & SONS-IN-LAW, Christy and T.J. Stobaugh of Ball Ground, Ga.; Angela and Charles Patterson of Ball Ground, Ga.; GRANDCHILDREN, Austin Sparks, Victoria Patterson, Nicole Patterson, Brianne Patterson, Shelby Stobaugh and Megan Stobaugh all of Ball Ground, Ga.; HIS MOTHER, Mrs. Bonnie Chalker of Marietta, Ga.; SISTER, Dianne DeLoach of Baytown, Texas; BROTHERS, Charles Chalker and Brian Chalker both of Marietta, Ga.; Other relatives also survive.

At his request, Mr. Chalker was cremated.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014, at the Roper Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.

The family will accept outdoor plants, or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
