Ms. Martha Godfrey Carver, age 81 of Jasper, passed away at Grandview Health Care on Tuesday April, 29, 2014.She is survived by daughters; Joan Fowler, Jo Ann Carver Harper, brother; Hoyt Godfrey, grandchildren; Scott Fowler, Michael Harper, Richard Garrett, great-grandchildren; Emily Fowler, Kelsey McGill and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 4:30pm until 10pm and again on Wednesday from 8am until prior to the funeral service. Funeral services are scheduled for 1pm on Wednesday at Town Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Roy Blackwell officiating. The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
