Mr. Thomas D. Wood, age 88 of Jasper, passed away at his residence on Saturday May 24, 2014.He is survived by sons & daughters-in-law; Michael D. & Missy Wood, Timothy J. & Lisa Wood, daughters & son-in-law; Gayle Harley, Wanda & Perry Scott, brother; Eric Wood, sisters; Dorothy A. Delong, Betty Woody, 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

The family will recieve friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 7pm till 9pm, Monday from 8am till 9pm, Tuesday from 8am till 4pm, and again on Wednesday from 8am till prior to the funeral hour. Funeral services are scheduled for 11am on Wednesday from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with brother Eric Wood officiating. The interment will follow at 1:30 pm at Georgia National Cemetery in Cherokee County.
