This past Saturday, the PHS Cross Country team hosted the Pickens Preview Invitational at Roper Park and featured 1,257 registered runners. The girls team would finish 8th out of 16 teams with Savannah Rice earning a medal for finishing in 10th place. The boys team would finish 2nd overall out of 17 teams with Sean Parker taking the 1st place medal after missing last year with Planter Fasciitis with a time of 16:45 while Wyatt Ingram got the 9th place medal. Next Saturday, the boys and girls teams will be in Nash Farms for the Saucony Battle of Atlanta.
